Crikey ive been off a month!
Ive been very boring, not spending and just ke3ping going with being a mum. Twinklet is an angel. Started sleeoing through and is really a very good baby. Im very lucky with her.
hubs is takinb on lots more work but it is all over the country so bitter sweet.
Money wise im doing well not touched the savings yet and wont need to this month which I thought we would. This means I will be ablento have the 6 months of that I was hoping. If hubs work keeps on, then it way be longerI am being very careful though and hardly spending anything.
hope everyone is ok xFacing up to things - nov 2012 total 9334.95

Hi LL,
Don't know if you remember me from early 2013, we used to post on each others diaries quite a lot.
Its fantastic to hear little twinklet has arrived safe and sound. You sound like a fab mummy and well done with being thrifty too. Having a new baby is a real temptation to spend on a million and one gadgets.
Well I am back here with my tail between my legs, trying yet again to sort out my debts. Will keep up with your diary from now on.

Crikey not been on for such a long time. No excuses as Twinklet is an angel and sleeps well. Such a good baby and it's lovely spending time with her
Steph of course I remember you lovely
So! So much to tell since my last post.
Hubs worked loads up to the Xmas close down period. He's been able to contribute properly to the house to make it an even split. It meant that xmas was so mug nicer than last year . We spent about £50 on Twinklet on clothes and toys which would be needed anyway. Bought all the clothes on eBay. Don't see he point in forking out loads when she's growing so quickly.
I have got a new job! Hurrah! It's actually a place I worked before. It means going back from mat leave early (6 weeks early) BUT means I won't be going back to the job I HATE, for more money, more holiday, child care vouchers, pension, closer to home. Hurrah! In sad to be going back early (jan 20th) but it's the best for my happiness and therefore Leila's happiness. Hopefully hubs work will be back in the new year.... If that's the case, I'll be better off than I was before as everything will be split fairly. I had got to thre point before may leave where I was paying all the bills (£700) and saving enough p/m to build up mag cover but enough to be able to cover child care (£400) and still surviving. This means I'll be able to get back on track wih debt busting! This is a huge relief. In order to save enough for mat leave I've only been paying just above the job payment. I haven't touched my cc with I'm very proud of. Of our mat cover savings when I go back we'll sti have £1500 left (after paying Jan's bills) which I'm so happy about. And we've paid for our kitchen tiles to finish it all off in there.
It seems evrything is going nicely so I'm waiting for something to happen. We 'be worked really hard though to get where we are and we're happy and prepAred which I suppose it all we can doFacing up to things - nov 2012 total 9334.95

so here i am back at work.
leaving twinklet on monday was a bit hard but shes having a great time t the child minders.
hubs' work has been back on last week, quiet this week but back next for the next month so all good.
have worked out my finances from the end of feb and looks like i should be able to get back on to clearing my debt pretty quick. my calculations are a bit wooley atm as wont know until i get my first pay packet how much take home i have each month & how much the child care works out with the vouchers kind of thing. i am taking into consideration savings as well now that hubs is working and able to contribute to half i am gonna be able to save up a nice nest egg & pay my debts of nicely.
i have set my target to be 100% debt free by the time i am 30 which is march 2016. this seems like a long way off but hopefully will be able to bring that forward.
i am amending my signature to show from now, but have to keep in mind that Nov 2012 my debt was £9334.95 and now its £6665.78 and i managed to save £5k to cover mat leave so i CAN do this!
COME ON!!!!
