Ebay account suspended!!!

Please can anyone help me. Ebay have suspended my account as they said my feedback wasn't up to scratch!! This was totally unfair as it was at 99.8% - not sure what they thought was wrong. They then suspended my account and said I could not longer sell.
So I opened another account and that was ok until yesterday when they said the two accounts were linked and shut that one down to!
How can I open another account or get them to let me use my original account again?
Please help!
Lydia

Firstly it will have been th elow stars on your expanded dashboard that got you suspended, not the headline feedback. An explanation about the expanded dashboard is here:

Usually we would suggest a course of appeals to regain your account, but as you have gone on to open a new account which is against ebay t and cs I suspect you have no chance at all now of recovering your original account.

Many people have managed to appeal against an initial closure, usually by persuading ebay that some of the low stars are malicious or that they took steps to change their selling proactice once they got the first warnings. However, once they go on to break another rule by trading when banned that is usually final.

If you open another account that may survive for a while as well until that too is closed down. Your only hope, and it is a very slim one, is to appeal the closure on the initial account and get that reinstated with restrictions.

Never ever open a new account and try to trade when banned, I know 'mates' tell you it is easy, but it never is and people always get caught eventually.

  • Your feedback wasn't bad - certainly not anywhere near risking the closure of the account, so there must be another reason: Were the DSRs low on the original eBay account (low as in any heading below 4.6 out of 5.0 or lower?) If so, that's the reason.

I think the fact that eBay has noted and closed your second account pretty much prevents any further eBay activity on both or any other accounts, but other more knowledgeable MSE users will know more than me about this...

  • Ok.... is there anywhere else I could try and sell stuff? I have tried ebid but had to luck at all. I'm so upset.
I'm not out to diddle ebay I just think they are so mean on small sellers. The power sellers get away with everything!

They are able to recognise the identity of the PC and associate it with another eBay account.

They must have linked it to the other banned account that way.
