I agree with your points MrsY all I'm saying is you can't just assume that ALL Surveys.com members will be invited because of different demographics which will mean that some of us will just not get an invite.
I am guilty myself of reading your 1st post & not thanking, purely because of being a member & not having being invited to complete the trial. Therefore the post was of no use so you didn't need to be thanked - having said that it was nice of you to take time & write. I suspect other members have had the same of reading your post with interest but unfortunately not qualifying for the study. That's prob IMHO why you've had lots of views but limited thanks. It's not peeps being rude they just don't qualify.
I agree £70 is a fair wedge of cash!!! What you gonna do with it? I recommend buying 180 Crunchies!0 -
No, my post was aimed at those who will use the link and who haven't said thanks.
I don't want thanks to get my 'thanks' count up, I just want people to show a little bit of courtesy and appreciation for a freebie.
BF - I doubt it is the first time i've posted about people not saying thanks, and i've got a serious case of deja vu about your post as well.
MSM - I can't decide whether to spend the money on a new pair of trainers (my others have holes in) or put it towards some bills. Chances are i'll put it towards some bills.0 -

By the way I'd... erm just like to thank iwanttosave for thanking me in my previous post0

How many people had you helped before you started asking for thanks, not how many people looked at the thread, but how many had you helped?
I always thank people when I follow up on their tips but there are many posts that I look at and ignore, i'm not about to start thanking everyone who posts.0 -
mrsyorkie you wont have de ja vu about my post. i've never posted that before anywhere.
why are you trying to pick fights with people. there are more important things in life. if you are so unhappy about people not thanking you for your posts then don't bother to post anymore. that way no one will offend you by ignoring you.Fight for clean hospitals, C-DIFF takes lives

BF, I am NOT trying to pick a fight, i just found it extremely rude that although 57 people had by then viewed my thread, nobody could be bothered to give one click of a mouse. You can't tell me that all 57 people had not been helped by the thread.
I'm not begging for thanks, and as earlier stated, i am not bothered about my 'thanks' count. What I am asking for is for people to be a little less ill mannered. I guess that this is just too much ask!0
