The closest mine get to a wash is when they get blasted with the jet wash....theres at least 5 years worth of muck on mine (but at least the inside of the windows are clean).

  • I suppose I do mine about four times a year. I should do them more often as they always look grubby and I have no nets and only have curtains in two of the bedrooms, so can always see them. I just hate doing them.

When I had my very first house (a long time ago) I fastidiously cleaned my windows inside and washed the nets every six weeks after the window cleaner had been.

Every month since I bought one of those Karcher Window Vacs when they were on sale at B&Q, awesome gadget that makes a crappy job, easy and zero streaks, also works well on tiles and cars.
  • Probably once a year but they never look good. I have the Mr Muscle window stuff, and I always think I've done a good job until I step away and they're still covered in smears. No amount of polishing seems to work.

The lady opposite has the window cleaner every week (no smutty jokes please!). I'm not watching out for him, but I work in a room facing the front so I see all the comings and goings in the road.

I have a window cleaner :o. He comes once a month. I clean the insides of the windows every other day.
