wash your windows?
I've currently just washed mine and realised that I seem to do them once every 3 months. They were minging so I think i'll up that.
I'm top of a 3 floor (+ground) flat and I do get nervous when I do them.... i'm an over thinker. Todays over thinking was me falling out and holding onto dear life at the Sky dish.
What do you used to wash them?
I use a vinegar/water solution and them finish them off with a spot of windolene.

On average about once a decade, whether they need it or not.0

I'm also on the third floor. Ours get done about every 6 weeks by someone who comes round with one of those telescopic cleaning things (you know, where they stand on the ground and reach up to the window using a long pole). I wouldn't recommend leaning out and cleaning them :eek:0

ours get done twice a year by the building management - its really cool they abseil down the building - I'd love to do it myself!
We're moving to a house soon though, and I know I'll have to put some thought (and effort) into doing my own windows :S maybe i can abseil down all 2 floors to make it fun! (it really is the most boring job in the house!)
Will prob end up doing it 2 or 3 times yearlyWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

My window cleaner comes every fortnight. £2.70 for the 5 windows of my terraced house. Oh he probable does the back door window as well.
Inside? Rarely, I have blinds up and closed most of the time so it's when I have them open and realise how filthy they are inside that I end up doing them.0 -
Outside windows done by window cleaners with a jet washer thing . I can't get to any of my upstairs windows outside to clean . Downstairs I wash outside kitchen and living room , if needed , in between times . Inside , I do living room and glass doors often due to grandkids fingers (I don't mind !) Kitchen prob , monthly. Just done dining room , it doesn't get used much, but will do again for Christmas . Upstairs, we have secondary double glazing and won't take it down to clean inside till spring now . If it looks fine upstairs I might just do it every few months. The grandkids stay over but don't touch the windows . They don't know or care if I've cleaned them or not .Now I'm thinking I should really clean them if I get time but I'm not looking for extra work .0
