Never, I think if I got to the point where I thought I would wash my windows I know I would honestly have hit rock bottom in terms of having absolutely nothing better to do with my time.

I agree with this. I don't notice that they are dirty so I don't even think about cleaning them. If I did notice, then perhaps I would.

Once a year is enough, plus spot cleaning of any bird blessings as they arrive.
  • inside, once a week - sticky toddler hand prints and a dog that lives on the windowsill...
outside, once a month - we live in a downstairs flat so its a 10 minute job no ladder required!

Ours are done on average every 3 months outside either by ourselves or the local window cleaner if we catch him. Wont set him up regularly to do them because in the past he has sworn down all windows were done but quickly became embarrased when i asked how he never spotted me in the bath while the window was open if that was the case :rotfl:
Inside we do approx 6-8 weeks and thats more from where cats and dogs have been brushing up against the windows.

I cant remember the last time my windows outside were cleaned. We dont have a window cleaner and hubby isnt keen on cleaning windows.

I tend to clean the inside though every 3 months or so. I just use spray on window cleaner (i hate the smell of vinegar).

I think ours only get done so frequently because we've got loads of incontinent seagulls flying about here.. and also when it rains we get like a chalky or salty residue on the windows. Our windows get really dirty within a short space of time!
