I'm off to ask Martin for a 'lemmings' smilie, to express how the majority of MSEs feel after talking to Phil for a while.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

I am just in a right one me. I don't know what is up with me. I am just blocked by something. It is most most annoying.:beer:0

Even the 'thanks' button has lost the will to live, and is behaving irregularly under the influence of this thread! It's not visible on half the posts.......:oEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

At the very least, if you, for some reason completely unfathomable to the rest of us, feel you can't keep the one about doing some revision, keep to the other bit and get off MSE for a while!

Wish I could 2 days off when I finish writing the procedures manual and business recovery plan; I take 5 minutes for a swift coffee, then crack on with whatever else is in my in-tray. You're going to have to learn consistency, Phil, if you ever get a job. Not every piece of work requires mopping the brow to a crowd of applause; you're expected to just get on with it, day after day, week after week. It's what self-discipline is about. I can't believe you're slacking when your Finals are right round the corner, but your choice. Just don't come moaning on here when your results reflect your input.
I know I am harming myself. But I need to tap into that killer motivation of mine somehow.:beer:0 -

We are not talking about a job but studying in my case.
Sometimes it does, sometimes not. But I wrote 85,000 words for my PhD AND worked full time at the same time. I couldn't take time off after every few thousand words!0 -

I feel it would be taking advantage of things you've told me by PM to beat you round the head with quotations from holy writings, but don't reckon on my forebearance lasting too long!

I am going to keep it and do my best to get top marks in my exams.
Have a nice tea.:beer:0 -
