You shouldn't have entered into the deal if you couldn't pay up
Besides, you're always telling us you have your student loan money in the bank

But I have my student loans in fixed term investments. I have about 500 to live on until such time as I earn a salary. So I am happy to pay 50 quid if that is what you think I owe when I have improved cash flow.

if there was a degree in putting things off and making excuses, you would get a first! be it work or this money thing, there is always some reason why you can't do anything. work on how to make things possible, rather than always finding ways out of doing things.

I have tried fairy hard to get a job by spending hours crafting applications. If at the moment no one wants to give me an interview then that is the way of the world. It is not an excuse because I can not control who they interview.

At the time of posting this message, your title says 'gap between classing dates and interview'. Perhaps your attention to detail is letting you down.;)

Perhaps you need to use a spell checker or dictionary when you're trying fairly (not fairy;) ) hard at crafting applications.

Some employers will be put off by applications which have poor grammar or spelling..............just a thought.

It is. It's possible to make an application form so good that they can't not interview you, IYSWIM.

You are the king of excuses SP.

There's a long answer which is about making sure you are clear and consise and that it matches the person and job specifications perfectly.

The short answer is that I don't give away secrets like that for free.

I do find it hard to believe that you can do a perfect application.

The job I wanted had people 10-15 years older than me going for it. They are just naturally going to have so much more experience than me, so if I even knew what a perfect application is, I find it hard to see how I could have beaten those people.
