I have done a couple of hours of revision so you can all put your shot guns away.
I always do listen to Sue as I have huge respect for her as she is wise.:beer:0 -

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

When do we break the bad news to you? a) in a job, you often have to work an 8 hour day - if not more! b) what you PROMISED was not to go on MSE for more than 30 minutes at a time so you could get on with revision. You can't cancel that out by revising for two hours. If I PROMISE not to add to this thread for the rest of the day, I can't make up for it by only adding wise words.
If only ... to all parts of that! :rotfl:
Not many people can revise for 8 hours solid and 8 hours in one go would not be productive anyway, Shocking I do know a job involves 7-8 hours a day.
I am keeping to my promise of 30 mins from now on.
I do respect you and I do always find your comments insightful, so I do not know what is funny about it.:beer:0 -
I had a nosy at the interviewees anyway and they all looked at least 10 years older than me, so I see now that I did not have a hope in hell really.
Not to worry, life goes on!!:beer:0 -
