Morning Folks..hope we've come thru the night with only tap water entering the house
I can't imagine how those poor people must be feeling after the floods
Anyone else feel like slapping news reporters & retail management yesterday, urging us all to spend? I do wish they would& show a bit of compassion for folk going thru a difficult time, be it imposed by Mother Nature or mps; there are too many wishing they were there with the money to spare, without mega-salary numbskulls telling us to 'spend, spend, spend'.
Aaaand (I musta woken up in a moany mood) why leave broadcasting tv programmes showing folk how to do crimbo on a budget, till it's too bluddin late to do anything
Mind, that one who has "a hhays in Divin" has some weird concepts of making your own--I reckon 4tnum & Mays $ons would be cheaper that what she produces :rotfl:--& it's all well & good if you have access to those wonderful haberdashery stores & artisans, but most of us live in the real world Luv!
Ooooooo..that felt gooooooooood..I'm OK now I've had a moan
..wonder if I was one of them wimmin who sat knitting next to the guillotine on a previous life
To business! Sweet 16 is celebrating as we speak...Don't tell Igor; he'd be sooo upset he wasn't asked to cater
bessim...

Hi all - hope everyone is managing to stay warm & dry in this awful weather we're getting. Feel so sorry for so many people who are getting flooded out yet again.
No NSD's to report - keep needing small important itemsBUT lovely lad in M**isons on the voucher desk made up my stash to the required 8 so I got a £30.00 voucher instead of £25.00. He was keeping all the extra unused & making the tally up for everyone. I'm sure he wasn't supposed to do it - but what a lovely lad & yes I did tell him so!
Merry Christmas everyone & all the best for a happy & healthy New YearSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
NSD 13 yesterday for me.
Have bought everything I need for Christmas (and beyond) now, so hoping to get a good few more NSDs this month.

Claiming today as NSD 13 as I don't feel like doing much or going anywhere. It's 20 years today since my beloved mother crossed over. Just sitting here with my memories.
Hugs for all that need them.
Sending you a massive ((((((hug)))))) MB.
