My Kipling duo arrived today. I like the gentle grey, but not so sure about the peony. It is very bright . It will make a great holiday bag though as the size is much smaller than my usual bags. It was also nicely boxed, so would make a great gift.

Yes I have the Duo - really like it, it's a good size for me, also like the purse too :D

So the question is, should I be bothered about a used bag, or am I just being too picky? How do the rest of you feel about buying used bags?

Now that I've got my first (new) Kipling I would definitely consider buying one used if it was a style/colour I wanted because they wash well. Once it's been washed, it's fresh and as new with no 'residual' from the previous owner (eeuuw - but you know what I mean!).

I occasionally buy used dresses from eBay - I know a make/style that suits me, and I buy lined, good quality dresses for about 25% of their 'new' price. I always buy washable stuff and wash it as soon as I get it. I've had some lovely dresses at bargain prices. And it's good re-cycling!

It gets my goat, though, when people advertise items as new when they're clearly not

I have just come back from Cheshire Oaks and came back with 1 class Seoul back pack, 1 defea and 1 erasto for £85 all in a very luminous pink which I was told was a colour release to the American Market.

The colour is called Surfer Pink but imagine the brightest pink possible and you might be halfway there :-)

It is this shade but a different style.

Wow - you'll have a lovely set of bags!!
That is bright - but not unlike the Peony - there are probably only so many shades of pink they can do!!
