  • OP it is not helpful to post the same question on different boards - I suggest that you ask a board guide to merge the threads so everyone can see what has already been said.

However, as I said in your other thread on this topic - you are a member of a union, so you should seek their advice. That is what you pay your subs for. Also, they will have full access to the facts and won't be left playing 'twenty questions' trying to get to the bottom of what's happening.

I also share the scepticism of posters on the other thread concerning the almost spooky similarities and coincidences between your threads and those of another recent poster (who also posted on both boards). But maybe I am becoming too cynical in my old age

No you are not cynical in your old age ;);)

So are you saying here I should tell him but forget his advice but just tell him anyway?.

    NO.

You need to be honest but remember dads sometimes can't be objective when it comes to dealing with issues with their children.

What are the things you agreed there was an issue with but are now resolving.

You're not taking 'crap'... I say your dad's right and you should clean up a bit.

Personally I have always found elves to be much more problematic. They get in the washing machine and eat socks...

I'm guessing long term care costs are dropping off a lot of horizons right now.
