Sorry but this really isn't anything but playground squabbles. I apprecaite it that you don't see it like this and it doesn't feel like this - but that is what the law sees it as. Giving people dirty looks and saying no to a cup of tea are not "employment issues". You had a warning for something that you think, it would appear, was justified - and you have taken it on board and are moving on from there. Good for you and keep doing that. Ignore the children in the corner of the playground! You can't refuse to work with people, so rise above them, keep your nose clean, and if you have to, speak to your manager about their behaviour, But try to keep it informal and peaceful in the first instance. It is easier to fix what isn't obviously broken!
And that also applies to disciplinaries - my crystal ball is broken and yours never worked at all! You have one warning and you seem to accept that and are dealing with it. Great. Honestly! Contrary to popular opinion, sometimes warnings are reasonable. You haven't got any others, and there is no evidence you will have. You seem to believe these two people hold some sort of sway over such things. I doubt they do, but I suspect the employer knows that, and them very well. Don't assume what hasn't happened. Keep your eye on the ball - and that ball is doing what you need to do to get over the only warning you have.0 -

next time you have a meeting if they raise anything new that is false, just tell the person you know these complaints are rubbish........
there is obviously a real problem just make sure that gets fixed.
I was going to thank you for this - but the site won't let me! So I agree!0 -
Sorry sarel i must of posted wrong i have no FORMAL warning because to have one under our procedure hr need to be there and they need to tell you it is a warning don't they?
im just worried i need to last out 12 month0 -
I really try not to post here that often any more. So this one is easy and I don't have to be polite about it. Spit it out or stop wasting peoples time. Nobody in their right mind can give you advice based on this amount of information, and playing coy is helping you not one bit. Can they sack you tomorrow? Yes. Can they sack you fairly in law tomorrow - well that is anyones guess. If the employer has you by the balls, then tomorrow is a good bet. Or the day after possibly.
What you are asking is an unanswerable question. There are a few good people here trying to help you - and the only person not trying to help you is you. Spit it out or don't waste their time.
:rotfl:Atta girl, say it like it is, I would think most of the posters on here wanted to say the same thing but were a little shy of doing so.;) It worked though....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Sorry - penalties of skim reading! I didn't read that you had too little time to have employment protection (whcih may actually be two years - when did you start?). You may still have a formal warning - legally HR don't have to be there at all, and if you don't have employment protection anyway....
But the rest still stands. Deal with what you have to deal with because you have been told to. Otherwise, stick your head under the parapet and don't make waves you don't need to. There are unpleasant people in life. Don't assume they have power or influence - these sorts are usally well known. If your manager is happy, then you are happy. And you don't have to live with them for ever. Some people have to. So there's a plus. Head down, nose clean... make your manager happy.0 -

I like people who go str8 to the point. But the procedure says HR does need to be there and do they not have to follow there own procedures? and do they not have to say "this is a formal verbal warning" and give notice I was given 5 minutes to go to the office.
Sorry for all the questions sarel you are most helpful0 -

The procedures are irrelevant - if you have no employment protection they can send in a line dancing herd of elephants in pink tutus to deliver the "You are sacked" message tomorrow - and that is what you are. Your ability to claim (or not in your case) unfair dismissal is the only thing that stands between you and the dole queue. In the absence of this, which you do not have, invisibility is the next best thing. Sorry, but you are on a hiding to nothing legally, so you need to be invisible.0
