How long is a piece of string - that example doesn't really tell us anything for example the appeal could be on very liberal grounds and could be shot down immediately.

Are you the employer, the employee or the union rep?

It can be any amount of time and you don't have to go in that order - you can skip straight to dismissal if they are thought to have committed gross misconduct.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

    The obvious answers are

    1. Never

    2. Depends. (how good/quick you are at managing the appeal process)

Remember appeals and next step can run concurently

    No I didn't, it's petty/false reporting.

Can you raise concerns about false accusations i.e grievance
  • But as far as I am aware in any company you can't win an appeal. As managment normally sides with management
  • If i can get this job to last just 12 months and get the qualification im doing ill be out of there.

Just wondering if through holidays greivances and appeals I could keep it for 12 month before leaving. I need it for 12 month either way to finish the course
