Thanks Choc xxxx We'll get there, one day!!!!
I am at the stage now where I can't say no to handouts!!!! We have some friends who always pop round with frozen food and always say 'we are defrosting our freezer and it will just go to waste'. I know that they are fibbing about the freezer!!!!!

Just keep in mind that you would do exactly the same for others if show was on the other foot. It's a means to an end and you will get there - you sound very determined!

    Hi e4rub,
I think its so easy to get in to your situation. I started a new job in sept but I didnt get a full wage so was seriously short of cash. I applied for a PDL with the same company as you and was turned down . I didn't think they would refuse and it took me by suprise. I managed to sort a few things out and contact the companies I wouldn't be able to pay.
Now the PDL companies keep e-mailing me saying that they can help this time round. Things are still really tight financially and the temptation to borrow before xmas is incredible.

As for school trips, we received a letter the other day re; school trips next year. It says that they have been quoted over £200 per child for 5 days away within our district.

So, had to pay bills yesterday, which means only one thing..........PDL :mad::mad:
Changed passwords last night, so only hubby can log on, which is fine because we are working TOGETHER to get it reduced :D
Only 18 days till we pay this one off and then hopefully we will borrow less next time :(
