2013....New Year, New Start (again!!!!)

Am starting this thread for myself really......been on a DMP since August 2010 and was doing great ~ sticking to budget, not getting into any more debt, all bills up to date etc
Then, it just crept up on me, not sticking to budget and running out of money/food etc
Then I did something so ridiculous.......borrowed from wonga........I KNOW.....STUPID FOOL......YOU DON'T NEED TO TELL ME:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Anyway, still trying to get out of the mess I have got us in and don't want judging (I beat myself up enough)
So this is going to be my little diary to help me get out of this mess and if you want to read or comment, then feel free........
So as I stand today I owe Wonga £800. I aim to clear this debt ASAP. I don't pay any council tax in Feb/March and also earn more commission in my job in my February/March wages, so I am aiming to have it paid off by the end of March (fingers crossed)

It's so true that it's so easy to spend it and not that easy to pay back i know......

Does extra borrowing (from wonga) not affect your DMP?

My DMP company arn't aware I have borrowed from Wonga and I am really hoping that I can get it sorted before they find out!!!!
Your right, it is so easy to spend it and far too easy to borrow it!!!The main problem being it is paid back every payday but then I have to borrow again just to pay bills/buy food. I can feed the family (2 adults and 3 children) on £50 a week.
What I am most cross with myself is that I am paying £200 interest a MONTH. so am literally flushing this much money down the toilet. But I am determined to sort it out, I have to!!!!

What a waste of money,eh!!! Ridiculous!!!
But , I have no one to blame but myself and I am the only one who can sort it out, so I have made that my mission at the moment!!!

Good lord hun, £200 a month interest on an £800 loan :mad:. That is absolutely disgusting.

I guess you don't have any family you could borrow from, just so that you don't have that ridiculous interest.?? Yoo could pay it back by March if you did.

How these companies are allowed to operate is beyond me.

I do have family but no~one that could lend me £800!!!!! I am determined to do this on my own!!!

Might be worth a call to Wonga and see if there's anything they can offer by way of payment plan?

HAHA, from what I have read on here there is about as much chance of me plaiting fog as Wonga accepting a payment plan :rotfl::rotfl:
