You're doing great, and thank you so much for your honesty too - you sound like you're staying really positive! Imagine how great you'll feel when you don't have to worry about the PDL any more? It won't be too long :) Sounds like you have great money saving ideas!

So, today is PDL day :mad:
Really, Really hope this will be the last month that we get a PDL.
I can't believe that since starting this diary we have gone from paying Wonga £1000 per month to being in the position that we are now where hopefully we will never have to pay them another penny!!
Only thing that bothers me is the fact that they don't let you close your account. I have heard so many horror stories of them taking money from bank accounts where no loan is actually in place.
I know I am going to send my bank the letter stating that I withdraw my consent for the continuous payment. I think I will also order new debit cards as well.
Do you think I should ask my bank for now account numbers???? Is this something that my bank will do???

  • Morning Emily,

Nevermind about the PDL, fingers crossed this will be your last.

would definately get the letter send to the bank. I doubt very much they will be able to change your account number, but surely if you get your cards re-issued that will solve the problem?.

I am not oversure how PDL's work, as thats one debt I seems to have managed to avoid (got all the other debts though :o).
Did you give them your card details when you signed up?. If so, changing your card will definately stop them, especially if you write to the bank also.

Good luck hun. Do you think this will definately be your last PDL?.

Get selling some stuff on #bay if you can find anything. does'nt have to be high value,as it all adds up. I have set myself a "Make £200" on #bay challenge this February to keep creeping out of my OD.

    Have a great day xx

I really hope it is the last one Steph. I think it will be the last one......providing we have non of the bad luck that has a habit of following us around!!!!!
Think I will speak to my bank re card/account numbers and see what they suggest.
