  • We are both 40 in the next 12 months! Really hoping to be able to do something special but will have to see how business is this year.

Hi Lucky, it's looking good, fingers crossed. Spoke to hubby about it today and I know that we definitely will have enough money from both our wages to cover all our bills and a bit left over to live off. Really hope that we don't have to borrow any more in March but if we do it would be no more than £100 and that would really be as a last resort. I have worked a weekly budget out for us for after the PDL has been fully cleared and any surplus will be transferred on payday to a separate online saving account, so that if we are ever short of money again we have some 'emergency' money. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!!! Thanks so much for your support :A:A

So.........on Monday my PDL will be settled and on Thursday my hubby's PDL will be settled.
I have decided I am going to keep going with this diary once the PDL nightmare is behind us!!!!! I think I will post to help me stick to the weekly budget that I have worked out for us and hopefully this will keep me on track and ensure that we never take out another PDL :embarasse:embarasse
