coming to inverness in august for a long weekend with extended family 14 of us in total. we are going on a boat trip to see the dolphins and wondered what else you could recommend 1 oap 5 adults and 8 kids!
thank you
You are probably best to contact Tourist Info. Beware there is no guarantee in seeing dolphins though. I went on 1 a few years ago and was lucky ot see a seal!! There will be a few boat trips available but it is best to get some leaflets from Tourist Info. I need to do a car boot over the next week or so.
I know there used to be one near Eden Court but I can't find it advertised anywhere: does it still run? It used to always be advertised in the paper but isn't now. If it is still there does anyone know what times it's on please. Also anyone got any general tips please.0 -
Yes it is still running I would aim to get there between 7- 8 in the morning.
I would leave it to a weekend when the weather is going to be good.
Take loads of carrier bags and change and take a helper if you can0 -
Thanks.
I may leave it until next weekend but I only have a small window of opportunity: can only do it at the moment because I have someone to mind the children: really don't want to have to take them with me; I'm aiming to come home with less stuff than I go with!!!0 -
Hi sorry I seemed have neglected this thread a wee bit well I am back again. Anyone know a good car boot apart from the MFR one? I need to get rid of a lot of junk in the next month or so. Not a great help but I know that the Eden Court one has moved to the co-op for the time being: I suppose this means it'll be rather small.0

When did that happen? I was bored and went down on 30th dec. to be greeted by 2 traders selling vegetables, and 1 steward! I just thought it was quiet....:o0 -
There was a very small notice in Fridays Courier, sorry I don't know any more: it didn't give any other info.0

Thanks Kabie, I saw this in the Inverness Courier. A very small notice, but I recall there being one there before so it must be a good site. Does anyone know what time of year is busier. I did one a few years ago and it was quiet to say the least. I don't want to do that again lol!!I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.I am a money magnet. Hello to any local Inverness people
My Husband and I are travelling to Inverness for the weekend on Friday (18th) and I have been trying to find places for us to eat rather than having to eat in the Hotel as I know the prices will be
This is a great thread .... have listed Mustard Seeds and the Raja (I think). I really wanted to find a Pizza and an Indian restaurant. I found two places called Pazzos and also Cinnamon. Can anyone recommend?
Have also been looking for any deals on 2for1 etc.... any ideas.
We have a trip booked for Saturday with Jacobite on the Loch Ness (cannot wait :T )
I am trying to do on a budget really, as this was a voucher given to us for helping my sister and BIL arrange their wedding last Sept. Voucher was a 2 night stay at Ramada. We could fly from Bristol with Easyjet pretty cheaply and have car hire.
Many thanks in advance for any suggestions .... so looking forward to finally be visiting Scotland.
Hugs, Shal. x0
