    Hi Everyone,

Nice to hear from you. Pinkpinkfizz I agree about Harry Ramsdens but Hilton's chippy is the cheapest, you even get it in newspaper. It tastes so much better too!!!

We went to the Mustard Seed, two courses for £5.95, excellent value (lunch) and it is healthy food too. We won't be visiting Girvans for a while!!

Snow Goose is great too but they never change their menu.

The Mustard Seed restaurant is really fabulous, the fish is amazing. As racer said, you get set price lunch & dinner (before 7pm) but you have to book as it is packed every single night.

Avoid the beef though, not so good.

The vegetables they give you are "eat as much as you want", they don't tell you that but if you ask for more with your main meal then they give it to you for free.

just to say to definately avoid the fish at the Hilton Chippy!! We had a treat on sunday night (before I joined Weightwatchrs on Monday!:o ) and the kids all wanted a chippy but I fancied fish & chips, thought I would save myself time by getting it all there.... fish was really awful!

Guess it was a bonus start to my weightwatchers campaign. l:rolleyes:

We had lunch at the Mustard Seed last week and it was fabulous, nothing like it anywhere else. There was a mess with the meals and my OH's arrived before mine. For that we got our drinks free just for waiting 5 mins to get my lunch (he was on his lunch hour!)

    Hiya,

re the Highlife card, there isnt any info on the cost of it on the HRC website :(

I'm interested as the new sports centre in Grantown is part of the scheme :) (if the PE staff let anyone in !! ;) )

Anyone tell me how much it would cost for a family card ??

    Cheers

    Hi Bebe,

The Mustard Seed is just off Church Street. you turn off after the Coop & Hootananys. Best place to park is Tescos car park & then walk over the bridge you go past the Ramada Jarvis car park and turn right.

    Any questions please PM me.
