Do you want to cancel or don't you?

I think hes saying he doesnt want to cancel now , only for the sale to fall through and hes left without phone/tv/bb in his current house .
I dont think you can retract the cancellation ?
Find it very hard to believe VM couldnt beat $ky with a retention deal . Remember $kys prices DO NOT include BTs £11 line rental .0 -
I'm not sure Virgin would turn down the business though, would they?
Incidentally, BT require seven days notice (or you can cancel on the day you move out, but you pay an extra seven days line rental).Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -
the op probably got put through to the dept that deals with house moves rather than the propper retentions.
wyi i get 10 meg broadband, a whole bunch tv and phone line with some call package i cant remeber for £27.50 a month, all caus ive been with them for years and was !!!!!ing about not being on the 20 meg trial, without sky one now you should also get some pretty hot deals.0 -
Beware! VM are a nightmare from start to finish. i was due to move on the 30th March - told them this. This was then changed so duely i informed them after a 30 min wait. Fine everything was ok as the inital cancellation had never been recieved????!!!??? THEN on the 30th March they cut me off and tried to collect the box - i said it was a mistake and they needed to reconnect me. After 1 hour on hold - YES 1 HOUR! they said they woudl do so - only for the little oiik who had disconnected me to phone and say he wasnt doing it as he wouldnt get paid for it. Had to re connect VM. And they are also trying to take me to court for money i dont owe them and they admit i dont owe them.
My advice - get out while you can. Nothing is going to give me as much pleasure as cancelling my contract with them this week!!!!! :mad:0 -

eek, sounds like fun (not)!, it's just that i'm in 2 minds whether to switch to sky or not0 -
Switch and dont look back would be my advice!!! Were moving into a apartment and getting sky but even if i could get Virgin i wouldnt - i have had nothing but trouble since they took over! Actually come to think of it i have had problems with every Virgin product i have ever had, credit card, Holiday, TV! Not a great endorsement for them! :rotfl:0
