I watch a few channels on youtube of people using video as a diary for their weight loss efforts. They upload a video, say, every couple of weeks. Some of them show how to do the exercises they've been doing. Others using tapes measuring themselves. They talk of the ups and downs, substitutes for favourite foods, some show themselves cooking a certain dish. All quite interesting. And they all have thousands of followers.

  • Yes happy birthday, as I alarmingly discovered, is copyright, although this is currently being disputed in a US court, the outcome, due later this year, will be interesting.
I would never rip off anyone elses videos or use any tools to boost views, I don't even know how :rotfl:
Thank you for your interesting comments

Hi, yes it still works for me, although I do still have to keep posting new videos and earnings don't seem to rise a great deal in fact they fluctuate a fair bit. Earnings for this year have been

I haven't kept up with my blog, it took too much time, so I just concentrate on the videos,

What are you thinking of doing?

This sounds great! You are an inspiration. So do you think the key to your success is constantly posting videos?

Amazing stuff. . . .I like my web tricks to make money whether it's adsense or youtube

I've yet to monetise some information sites I've made over the years, but it's encouraging to hear that the money is there.

May follow this guide step for step!

    Thanks

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Skinnylatte, a few months ago I read through this whole thread and was looking for a new challenge. So I set up a YouTube channel and started to make videos on a subject I know about and have really enjoyed it. I now have over 30 videos uploaded and have had over 1000 views collectively. It's slowly building and I'm just pleased people are watching my videos and hopefully finding them useful. Thank you Skinnylatte for the inspiration and tips. 😀
