wow you have gone full circle :T

I thought we were having a grown up argument but it seems you have decided argument is no longer a winner for you so have now resorted to rudeness.

I won't see or answer any more of your posts, so for my benefit no need to reply.

Actually I disagree and think that Dangermac was actually not rude with that reply just making a point. There was no name calling etc and despite disagreeing with their other posts, I think that one was spot on - go self employed doing something (just don't ask me what - I've been asking myself that for a long time).

I have taken my time to explain why I have the viewers I have and after 5 pages he posts that

You seem quite angry about employers in general:
    • The application process
    • Rate of pay
    • Availability of jobs
    • Number of hours being offerred
I have taken each one of those points and commented on them, in a non angry way, for him to dismiss all those points with "you seem quite angry" is clearly meant to be rude. After 5 pages I would have hoped he would have had a stronger argument than that.

No rudeness in that post but its a good point, if you don't like being an employee why not become an employer and have to pay all the costs that go with it and then offer an employee whatever wage you want.

so you either put up with low wages and bad conditions without comment or start your own business...I don't think those are the only options.

Sorry but I have an opinion and will voice it, you may not wish to express an opinion but I will.

I look at all jobs and even cleaning jobs want you to have a car and 2 years experience!

That's funny, I work at a school cleaning and they didn't expect me to have a car, nor did I have 2 years experince.

You may be one of the lucky ones then because as I mentioned somewhere else recently I saw a cleaning job once wanting a CRB and a degree (along with transport).

    Jobs for peasants have vanished.

No need to jump to conclusions, I was just making my point. :naughty:

Yes I do feel lucky. I managed to jump from my old job (after they told me they wouldn't be renewing my contract in 4 months time), to my new job in a month and a half. Also the school paid for the CRB. I'm very lucky the School is only 15 mins walk away from me.

I was in a decent job when I started my family and a joint decision with my husband was that I would give up work to care for the children, however he decided responsibility wasn't for him and he left with no plans to contribute financially. I took a job that was well beneath my skillset and at a low wage, I think I was about £20 a month better off (this was 1988) than benefits. I progressed with the company and was promoted in a role that has lead to a great career. It depresses me when I see how much tax I pay and I see people in the position I was in deciding that they would rather sit around waiting for the job fairy to visit with a dream job rather than get on and make a better life for themselves.

If you never give it a go you will never know how good life could have been, too many people anxious not to be exploited by these nasty employers that they never try to get on in life...

You carry on moaning then and being unproductive.

By the way, still waiting for this proof regarding 40% of morrisons employees being apprentices.....
