Oh dear, I have fallen out with Tesco!

My point was she was adamant that was not using TESCO again, so would it matter if they offered her more?If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

I want the issue of the drivers behaviour addressed, not anything else. As yet Tesco have failed to mention the actual incident itself, just sorry I was dissatisfied.
I would not like an elderly or vulnerable person to be subjected to false allegations by Tesco staff just because they happen to be asked politely not to do something.
Whilst I will not be using their home delivery service again and I've also been told that they will not deliver to me due to my neighbour being 'verbally abusive', I do not feel that they have taken in board what has happened at all, which is slightly more frustrating than the original incident.0 -
And no there isn't a monetary tipping point where I'd use them again, plenty of other shops that I can take my money to and who will give me shopping in return.0

Sorry OP, I know I shouldn't laugh, but this is quite hilarious!
You have grace dealing with this situation - more than I'd probably have TBH - and applaude you for seeing the funny side of it.
I do think you should ask for compensation though - something like a big bunch of flowers or lawn restore and repair for your neighbour who had his lawn trampled on and was wrongly accused of being verbally abusive.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

When I did my weekly shop, most of the basic commodities had gone up 10-20%, so you're missing nothing. Asda have managed to keep therir equivalent prices so far.0

And finally this has been resolved!
Neighbour had a bunch of flowers and a £25 gift card for the incident. The driver has been taken off home delivery apparently.
They have added £25 in Clubcard points to my next statement.
Apparently they are very embarrassed at their poor service.
Not using their home delivery again, but as they are my closest supermarket, I'll still use the shop (incidentally home delivery comes from another Tesco so no chance if bumping into that numpty) and the Clubcard points are appreciated.0 -

Very glad you got some response.
It was hard to believe that Tesco's upper management would find what happened to you acceptable.
I hope that the manager(s) that initially dealt with your complaint so badly have been 'spoken to'.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I'm glad you've had a good response finally. Their power has put almost everyone else out of business locally unfortunately, so I'm more or less stuck with them.0

I can't be doing with naffing Tesco anyway. They're much dearer than they used to be, and the staff are horrid and grumpy, and don't get me started on those horrendous dotcom staff members in the store: the members of staff who are getting the shopping off the shelves for the people ordering online. So RUDE! I haven't done a regular shop in there for a year or more.0

Forget the points and voucher.... the flowers are the sweetest part of their apology and bound to put a smile on anybodys face. Too many companies throw complimentary credit at situations, when sometimes you just want a simple apology and actually believe they mean it.0
