Oh dear, I have fallen out with Tesco!

Poor effort from tesco and nice to see someone not trying to get compo0

What a prat!
I'd certainly write to them and tell them what a disrespectful moron they have working for them.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
I would definately put a complaint in to head office. I am a delivery driver for asda and i have always been told by my manager that we are not to walk accross a lawn or even drive onto the driveway unless we are invited to do so by the customer.0

I can't say I won't ever shop in Tesco again because it won't wash and it's not true because they are the closest supermarket to me.
I've done an asda shop now and it's coming between 7-9am tomorrow so I'm not hugely inconvenienced either but just a bit amazed by the drivers behaviour but as was said he'll do it again I am sure
Please be sure to let us know what response you get.
Generally speaking I don't think writing to the MD of a company is something people should do unless they hit a brick wall lower down.
In this case, however, if you do not get a satisfactory response - definitely including the removal of your ban - I think it would be apposite.
I find it hard to believe that Tesco, at the highest level, expect their middle management to behave in such a bizarre fashion. They spend enormous amounts of money trying to gain customers so throwing them away at the drop of a hat is perverse. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I've had a call from a 'manager' at dot com, she has said basically the duty manager yesterday at the store was wrong, she'll talk to a more senior manager & come back to me.
They offered to fulfil my order today but have had Asda deliver already with no issues0 -
Some of their store managers are less useful than a chocolate teapot0

"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

No further communication from Tesco as was promised so will leave it to the letter I've sent to try & resolve (if that's the right word) the matter.0

Update to say a week later and still no response from Tesco, despite me chasing the store, dot com and letter posted to head office0
