oh dear........It all fell apart......:(. I haven't been here since April.

I have no major excuses, but I think the main thing was, I had managed to kill off 90% of my Littlewoods account and my overdraft was manageable, and so I felt I was winning and didn't need to scrimp so hard and not logging onto here just ruined my resolve.

I am now on anti-depressants as it all got too much. I am now most of the time feeling more optimistic if maybe a little detached from all my worries.

I still have a ridiculous amount of debt at around the 15k mark. I have resurrected my Excel budgeting spread sheet and have decided to tackle 1 debt at a time.

Last time, I really loved the 1% at a time thread where I did a little table of 100 boxes and coloured in each box as I paid off the debt. But this time instead of doing that with my total debt which took £172 to colour each box. I am going to do a table for 1 debt at a time so it feels like I am actually achieving something. :o.

My first table will be for Next and Littlewoods which together total £2000. So each box will be £20. I should hopefully be able to pay off about £300 at least per month, so it will feel like I am getting somewhere.

I am sorry I have missed everyones diary entries, I will be trying my best to catch back up and follow your progress again.

I hope you will all accept me back, maybe I should start a new debt diary saying 3rd time lucky :o:o:o:o.

    Hi Steph,

Sorry to hear you've not been well. Your diary was the first one that I discovered after finding this site months ago and I followed it avidly. I'd just had my own LBM with a similar level of debt and you were an inspiration :A

    Glad to see you back!

    Sam x

  • Welcom back Steph! Lovely to see you again, but . . .

You can't have that diary title - it's mine already! :rotfl: Well OK, mine is "Third Time Determined" but still.

My real point is "you and me both," that we all have wobbles and fall off the debt repayment wagon, but you just gotta keep getting back on it!
