Help please! Paid for scanning and disk can't be read

I've just paid £145 to have some personal stuff scanned onto a disk. I've put the disk into my laptop and it will only read one page, then it goes onto a blank page to tell me there may not be enough memory on my hard drive to read the disk. Your PDF issue is that you have lost the file association. If you open the file from within Adobe Reader rather than just double clicking on the file, it will work. Your PC is dumb-unless you tell it, it doesn't know what program to use to open a PDF file.
