Plod sometimes get these ideas.... my ex used to cycle into Uni, same route every day and where the bike lane stops most non expert cyclists would cycle over the footpath...
Much as I don't approve of cycling on footpaths anyone ever cycled over Kingston bridge at rush hour knows its unsafe as its extremely narrow and as buses cross it the cars have to squeeze .... making it really dangerous for cyclists...

So one day, plod turns up and gives out hundreds of fines.

Such operations are usually preceded by complaints from pedestrians or other road users, and the intention to have such a day of enforcement action is often highlighted in the local press.

Any complaint should be directed to the local Highways Department preferably highlighting a universally acceptable solution.
Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.

    As said,,,,
Seems a bit harsh of your rear wheels clipped but the alternative is risking a big fine in court unless you can prove why it's unsafe at that roundabout.
(And some it really is but you would need to prove it)....

Remember, it's Christmas.... they are just looking for extra revenue? or perhaps contributions to the widows and orphans fund??? (Police XMAS party)

How old are you ? Did your carer write this for you, my goodness what a great memory you have "Widows and Orphans fund" :rotfl: jeez get up to date fella, It's the Chianti, coke and strippers fund now, so poddle off back to bed, theres a good fella ;)

Where? I've not seen the others.

    Some of his early posts.
  • I would have paid the fine but complained to the IPCC about him letting off a colleague, for no other reason than to !!!! him off and cause him a bit of extra paperwork.
