Don't worry, mate; the op's not as bad as all that. If it's the same one, I had it done ages ago, and just look at me now! Thought I'd use Auntie Wolfy's login to say hi, as I'm staying with her again for a few days.
Wuffs,
Dylan the Lurcher
Hi Dylan, I will pass on your message to Louie. We are picking him up shortly - he had to have a longer than expected op but they say he's doing fine.:):j His bestest buddy Mig the lurcher is missing him dreadfully and is looking very sorry for himself so he will be pleased to see Louie back.
Have a lovely stop with Auntie Wolfy x x xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

((((((BBird))))) sorry you are struggling, hope things get better soon my love x
Jeez I'm knackered! Today my work kids did fundraising in local Asda. They packed bags for customers for 4 hours, and we raised just over £360 :j:j. I forgot to stop and take a break cos it was so busy, so wolfed down my lunch at 2.30 on the minibus! Very proud of my kids though.
Tonight I need to sort out finances - it's payday, and need to move some money around on the CCs too. And wrap my friends birthday presents as we are meeting straight from work tomorrow for dinner. Not sure what to have for tea, I fancy cheese pie but CBA'd to cook! :rotfl:
OS wise - packed lunch made, dishes need to be washed.
Have a nice evening all

FB - Well done to your team on the fundraising.
Taplady - Hope Louie is recovering well.
Uolypool - Congrats to DS, you sound so much more up-beat.
Shalva - My thoughts are with you and your family.
Welcome to Katy.
Big hugs to those not feeling so good.
Work is absolutely manic, inspectors are coming next week so you can imagine the chaos!
Had a dry day here but it's set to rain again tomorrow and be very windy too, weather warnings all round. Washing on the airers, DW emptied and hoover been for an outing. Salmon and veggies for tea, DD will have a baked pot with hers.
Take care. XX0 -
This thread is busy today. Had my last 'Beginner's Patchwork' class this morning. All the others were finishing their pieces off while I spent the time repairing my 'bow ties', then unpicking them and re-repairing them. Still, I did enjoy the class even if my hand sewing looked as though I'd done it with a poker.
Then, as we were in the metropolis we went to Sainsbugs and indulged in an omelette - not at all OS. It gets worse. We decided to use our Nectar points and drifted through the shop, looking at things we had no business to be looking at and (whisper it softly) bought things that were not at all necessary. Boy! It was fun.
Gets off the naughty step.
HH: Happy Birthday. 61? Huh, a mere babe. Are you in for a night of bliss or is that only for DH's birthday?
Welcome Katy. Are you sure you can cope with us?

Happy birthday Hester, hope that its been a good day.
Welcome Katie.
Beth....nice to see you talking to us again....still sitting around doing nothing I see!
Need to get moving on curtains for kitchen, it looks lovely since its been painted, but needs curtains to be finished...3 not very big windows and a door, hopefully it will all go well...last time I made curtains was for this house when we moved in here in 1965....
We have had 2 days of very cheap dinners....bought some 'bacon pieces' in Lidl a few weeks ago and discovered that it was a kilo, in just 2 pieces , of very nice bacon...had it with cabbage and spuds yesterday and bokchoi and mash to-day....will now be searching for a similar piece again.
No rain here to-day, quite a nice day, have just been out for a stroll with Mossy and its raining again and the wind is rising, looks as if it will be a lovely weekend weatherwise.
My cousin with lung cancer is getting weaker and they have stopped chemo and are just giving palliative care....feel so sorry for her and her family.
Hugs to all in need of one or more....sleep well

DH has just got back from the school because the alarm went off, he walked round the school and checked all the doors and windows, but couldn't find the cause, it annoys me because he doesn't get paid for it.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
