Can I ask what happened in the end?
I predict that you are unlikely to get a response, but so much has change during those five years it is probable that any response would not be helpful.
If you have an issue you would like help with then please start a new thread.0 -
Why not just do the 2 clicks needed to hop to read today's threads? And the NEWBIES sticky thread?

All the people advising to do nothing / ignore etc are ill informed. My case goes to Bristol County Court Jan 4th. UK Car Park Management Ltd. If i lose i pay about £300. I ignored all their letters under advice. I was parked in a private car park unloading my van of tools for a job on a building whose doors open onto the car park, but who don't own it.
If you're happy to risk the money, ignore them. If like me you're on a low income you could find yourself in court praying you don't lose.0 -

That advice was given 6 years ago, it was correct at the time. Things have since changed and no-one is giving advice to ignore it anymore. My case goes to Bristol County Court Jan 4th. UK Car Park Management Ltd. If i lose i pay about £300. I ignored all their letters under advice.
Who gave you that advice? It wasn't here within the last few years. If like me you're on a low income you could find yourself in court praying you don't lose.
All the more reason to follow the recent advice on here.0 -

My son has been receiving letters too after parking in a visitor's space. There is nothing on the signs saying you need a permit. The photo they sent shows the word visitors in it. They are now taking him to court in May. He can't attend an I am not allowed to represent him. What do we do next? I would have thought that if this is a scam, the court wouldn't allow this to happen. Please help!0

Firstly welcome
Secondly, when you signed up you agreed NOT to hijack other peoples threads
PLEASE
Start your own
You will need to show us
- the defence that was filed. YOU MUST have a copy!
- the parking companies full name
- photos of the signage.
You will also need to explain why your son cannot attend - if it is a date clash then that was what the N180 directions form was for. You could request a new date. You are correct, HE MUST attend.0 -
Sorry I have never posted on here so unsure what I have done wrong. Also where do I give this info. I have no idea. What is a N180? I didn't realise I had offended people if I hijacked their post.0
