Mancyouth is very eloquent and informed on the subject unlike yourself who seems to have little clue what is going on other than blaming everyone such as the administrators and bank and taking little responsibility for your own daftness.
A bunch of smileys is about your best contributions to this topic.

I'm sorry, I can't even work out what you are going on about most of the time. What does 'retort to my previous question' actually mean do the rest of us that speak regular English?0 -

Ah right, I'm with you I think.
I'd have though to a pension expert like yourself, it was fairly obvious what I meant.
My thoughts on the matter were that despite your original pension obviously no longer being in force, you (or someone acting on your behalf, like an IFA) would have had to find a suitable pension policy for any money that was retrieved.
After all, it would only be logical for money from a registered pension scheme to go back to a registered pension scheme. However, Mancyouth has since posted that this is not the case (and I don't know if that was just for his circumstances or for everyone involved) as the money was held in sort sort of 'limbo' account and had not reached the supposed scheme.
That doesn't make sense to me or others who work in the industry but hey, if that's what some over paid legal boffins say, who am I to argue.
Chainbar loyal, I would just leave the complicated stuff to be discussed by people who understand it to some degree.0 -

Sorry to anyone else, I'm not making fun of people losing their pension savings, I just do have an issue with a half-wit trying to act superior.0 -
