A fantastic idea.


As soon as possible, I'll skim through the email and the rest of the site to find the ones that Martin's mentioned and list them so you can get to them quickly. I already click through the Aquaplastics one daily from the MSA thread.

For now, here's Martin's article with some links at the bottom

Was thinking of liniking this post from a-z as 'click to give'

It's not really about MSE but a good cause

and thinking of adding link buttons for a few of them like the one below



for the following sites:

the hunger site
the child health site
the rainforest site
aquaplastics
nse/easyjet

(I think they really should be sites mentioned by Martin and that give International/British aid - I think that Breast Cancer Site and Animal Rescue help in the US - will have to read through the site and check)

Edit: Since aquaplastics and nse don't have official buttons I made 2 - but they were deliberately made to be very basic - can't give the impression they are official buttons

i reckon (if its not done already) that when newly registered members are sent the "hi, welcome to MSE" email message thing, they should be sent a link to the a-z, because it explains everything, from advanced features to simple pimple stuff in nice, easy step by step instructions :T

How about a link to the top 10 threads for the last few days? I used to look at it everyday but now I just can't seem to find it!

This is a great guide and is really useful, even for the more regular members.

I have just been looking through your Search Guide and the link to the old YaBB forums is no longer valid (try clicking it - it is at the very bottom).

I am fascinated by these guides. One thing I would like to say though - On the Subscriptions Guide (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=366352#post366352), it might be useful to say about new subscription appearing on the Home Page of the Control Panel as this is useful. (The way I keep track of my new subscriptions)

There is also Forum subscriptions...
