MSE News: Amex holders offered £25 cashback at London stores

  • Is there anyone out there who hasn't received the confirmation of spend e-mail or £25 credit (to Lloyds TSB Amex card)? I spent £55 in Topshop on the Saturday morning.

I know it can take up to 2 billing periods to credit to my card but it'd be nice to know that the cashback is confirmed, rather than just having to wait and see.

I tried clicking the T&Cs link in the e-mail I received when I registered my card to find further information, however this does not work!

    Any tips?

Yes, also on a topshop purchase. No email, no credit yet. Normal amex card though, not lloyds. Have emailed amex about it but 5 days later, no reply. Lets hope they are just being slow with some stores.
  • I contacted Lloyds TSB customer services who advised me to e-mail registeredcardsupport@aexp.com . I did that yesterday asking them to confirm my transaction had tracked and this is the response-

We received your email and have investigated your inquiry. You successfully enrolled in the Shop West End promotion but the transaction was not captured for Topshop. We will submit a manual credit for processing to your enrolled Lloyds American Express Card. The credit should process in 8 to 10 days.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for supporting Shop West End.

    Yippeeee!
  • Can I ask do Amex do these sorts of offers regularly? If they do I might apply for one.
