  • Finally caught up - can't believe I missed a glitch. Glad some people managed to get out and get some though. Well done and big thanks to aau1 et al :)

Not fussed for any more choc but the coke and coffee would have went down a treat. Never mind, bring on the next one!

Nikki - I am also plagued with cold sores and have done for years. I always get them in both corners of my mouth and end up looking like the Joker  Not a pretty sight. Have tried all sorts of weird and wonderful remedies but tbh nothing really stops them. I do tend to carry Zovirax around now and put it on when I feel that first tingle but its so blinking expensive and I've lost a few over the years because the tube is so damn small!

I feel for you, i really do. I have been plagued with them for as long as I can remember, and none of these weird and wonderful things never worked for me, so out of desperation i picked up a few of these Virulite things and I swear by it now. I wouldnt use anything else now.

They are not harmful in any way at all, can be used at any time and as many times a day as you want, and they disappear really quickly. None of mine have ever scabbed or split either

I would recommend it to anyone :)

Had a little bit of bad news yesterday (sorry if this brings anyone down). My Mother-in-law to be has been told that her bowel cancer has returned :( She had lumps removed last year and had chemo and everything looked positive, but it has returned with a vengeance. She is having another 3 months of chemo starting next week but the chance of it working is really low and the doctors have told her that she is looking at 18 months to 2 years left. I'm devastated!

Me and my OH have decided though that we will be bringing forward our wedding that we had been putting off 'until we could afford it'. It's going to have to be very cheaply done, does anyone on here know of a forum on here that discusses cheap weddings? If not, I'm off for a look now anyway x

LaaCaz, I'm sorry to hear your bad news sweetheart but it's right that you need a positive to focus on so good luck with wedding arrangements x
