Morning. I've got an A v S shop due back at 2.20pm. I got coffee, various cokes, kopparberg cider and some Smirnoff ice that were 2 for £7.50 (but I'm hoping msm doesn't recognise).

Did a great shop in T earlier, using my car coupons - a £28 shop down to £8:T

I still have tons of car coupons - is there a good buy with them at the moment?

Can't recall if they run out at the end of the month.....?

    :)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Had a little bit of bad news yesterday (sorry if this brings anyone down). My Mother-in-law to be has been told that her bowel cancer has returned :( She had lumps removed last year and had chemo and everything looked positive, but it has returned with a vengeance. She is having another 3 months of chemo starting next week but the chance of it working is really low and the doctors have told her that she is looking at 18 months to 2 years left. I'm devastated!

Me and my OH have decided though that we will be bringing forward our wedding that we had been putting off 'until we could afford it'. It's going to have to be very cheaply done, does anyone on here know of a forum on here that discusses cheap weddings? If not, I'm off for a look now anyway x

    Hi LaaCaz,

Really sorry to hear of your sad news :(

Just wanted to add a suggestion for wedding forums. I'm not getting married so have only been on from a maid of honour perspective but hitched.co.uk seems to be a good one. It's not specifically money saving but I think everyone is money-conscious these days so I'm sure there'll be some threads on there that might help. Hope that helps and that you have a fantastic wedding x
