Morning. I've got an A v S shop due back at 2.20pm. I got coffee, various cokes, kopparberg cider and some Smirnoff ice that were 2 for £7.50 (but I'm hoping msm doesn't recognise).

Did a great shop in T earlier, using my car coupons - a £28 shop down to £8:T

    morning everyone:)

i posted yesterday about some rtc items i found in sainsbury's well what i didn't mention was it was freezing and my hands were like ice so i thought i'd go to the toilet and heat them first before i walked around the store.
it's a newly refurbished store with loads more space added and new toilets, i walked fully in and the door swung closed behind me and you know how you're confused when you don't see what you expect to see, was wondering where all the cubicles were, then realised that there were not sinks but urinals along one wall, only then did i notice a man was standing looking at me all:eek: i turned to leave (run)and it seemed to take forever to reach the door i keep cringing everytime i think of it. and can't tell anyone in the house as i'll never here the end of it.
worse thing is i'm sure i was rubbing my hands together and blowing them as i entered, how it must have looked, oh the shame :o
    He he he :rotfl:

just received a mailing from T's with money off/extra points coupons:) £2 off ariel is best one. That will go nicely with one or two other mocs I have for ariel :)

Me too.. And I used them with car coupons this morning. The actilift gel is reduced from £8 odd to £4. So I bought 2, gave in £4 vouchers :T

Had a little bit of bad news yesterday (sorry if this brings anyone down). My Mother-in-law to be has been told that her bowel cancer has returned :( She had lumps removed last year and had chemo and everything looked positive, but it has returned with a vengeance. She is having another 3 months of chemo starting next week but the chance of it working is really low and the doctors have told her that she is looking at 18 months to 2 years left. I'm devastated!

Me and my OH have decided though that we will be bringing forward our wedding that we had been putting off 'until we could afford it'. It's going to have to be very cheaply done, does anyone on here know of a forum on here that discusses cheap weddings? If not, I'm off for a look now anyway x

Sorry to hear this, hope the chemo goes well and that you get the wedding sorted x

have you tried dabbing tea tree oil on them?
i swear by this stuff, it has a multitude of uses.

I've been using it because I got loads of samples of it on a BS glitch a while back;)

I swear by the Compeed patches - stops them spreading AND no crustiness occurs so they heal totally in about a week instead of the usual 2.

Home Bargains had them at £1 FOR A 12 pack SEE HERE

    - Ignore the night time thing and use one in the day too ;)

Will pick these up when I'm next in there:)

Sorry to hear your news LaaCaz :( and hope you can get your wedding all sorted quickly (and cheaply). It's amazing what you can set your mind to when it comes to it and you will probably find that a lot of people will be only too willing to help you out, especially in the circumstances.
