tricia89 and sfsb have made up to the extent that she now wants to have sfsb's babies.. that is unless her partner is not keen or sfsb's wife reads this post and removes his tentacles (you know what I mean).:p:p

Well, if ever an offer i cant refuse!

No babies though please i have my own 2 year old humbug to contend with Lol. x

So with some of the comments made this evening about giving things away, am I right in thinking that some people are getting some of the glitches simply for the thrill of glitch, not because they need/want it?

I am in no position to judge given we have enough chocolates/biscuits for presents for most of next year (I see them as an advanced purchase/saving) ... though we may need to make some more friends to give them to as I have a safety net ;).

I have to remind myself that there is a cost, even if it is time (including not spending the time doing other stuff)/petrol/fillers. I am guilty of getting carried away and spending far too much time on this - even checking this thread - but there are worse ways to spend time as it is an interesting hobby, and when I take time out I miss out on fantastic glitches.

I do it because I want it and can use it but also because I admit it does give me a bit of a buzz:oPlus it saves an absolute fortune. But I have fillers that I probably won't use and choccies that I've been lucky enough to get so it will actually also give me a buzz to think I'm in the position to help someone else. I always get stuff with the intention of using it (I genuinely leave stuff alone that I know I'll never use) but as every good MSE'er knows, you can sometimes overestimate the amount you can "actually" use:rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Can I ask if anyone knows of a food bank around Belfast. I have been buying non perishable stuff for the past month or so to donate, but I am actually having problems finding somewhere! Ideally I would like to donate to somewhere in E Belfast but don't mind really. I don't want to take it to one of the supermarket collections because I have got them from different places and have about 8 full bags! any help would be appreciated as I didn't think it would be this hard to find somewhere. TIA

There's a food bank at the Thriving Life church out on Movilla Road in Ards. It's dead easy to get to if you can navigate out of Ards towards Donaghadee. If you want any info just let me know as I'm up there most weeks and even if there's no-one at the actual food bank (a portacabin at the front of the church) the church doors are generally unlocked and you can drop off in the foyer.

Does anyone know where I can drop off for a womens refuge in or around Belfast? I'm guessing the address of the actual refuge isn't publically available but if anyone knows where there's somewhere I can drop off stuff I'd appreciate it.

I have a foot in both camps. I glitch for the thrill but only glitch for stuff I need. The problem is I don't always need all of what I glitch, the current one being a prime example. I'm happy to keep the nice choccies like the Thorntons or the G&B but the Vinnies tins don't appeal to me so I'll gift them or donate them.

Same goes for the fillers as after so many glitches, there's very little I would need so instead of buying cheap fillers, I buy useful stuff for the food bank. I'd rather buy a tin of soup and my shop cost 10p extra than have a stockpile of rim blocks or scourers.
