I am a domestic user who was previously with all incarnations of company ownership of this account which I've had for a decade going back though talktalk, opal, pipex, tiscali, freedom2surf.
The time has come for you to switch to a proper ISP that gives a **** then! You don't have to put up with their pathetic service any longer.Send the rep a PM.
Not possible!
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I thought company reps could receive PM's, but not use the reply/send function?
I've just sent a test PM to the TT rep and it went through OK?No free lunch, and no free laptop

Hi Arcadia,
Freedom2Surf Customers were migrated to TT Business. THis is due to the way in which F2S services were provided being best matched by migration to TTB not TT Residential.
If you are a TT Business customer you cannot join the Members Forum. You can however tweet the TTB teams @TalKTalkBizCare. This is because the Business grade services are provided in a different manner and managed by a seperate part of the TalkTalk Group.
@Macman - I can confirm it was recieved. Although PM's can be sent this doesnt help us to resolve customer issues as we:
a) cannot reply for various reasons via PM and
b) we cannot provide full account based support via MSE.
It is for this reason we always refer to our official online support channels via the Forum and Twitter.

Mark

No, but presumably you can pass customer info on down the line to be dealt with by CS?No free lunch, and no free laptop

Hi Macman,
The Online Community department can address any CS queries or Tech Support via our supported channels. Where possible we do not refer customers to other departments but taken ownership of isues end to end in order to facilitate resolution. AS such there is no need to pass info to CS, as the matter can be handled by the Online Community Department
As advised there are a number of reasons we do not provide support via third party sites. We offer general advice on third party sites and direct customer to the Official Online Community Support channels where necessary.
In this instance the OP needs to speak to our TT Business Department, for which we have given online contact details.
Regards
Mark

I am having same problem for around a week now with TalkTalk. It was never fantastic but it was acceptable, but now the speed is 0.2 during peak time for a week now.
We've got this problem, too. Ours has been bad for about a month, and to make things more complicated Talk Talk has emailed us to say the prices are going up. We're carrying out some research on Which? etc etc to look at alternatives - if we want to cancel for free, we need to do it in the next couple of days to be within the 10 cancellation period following the price increase email.0 -
hi lovethymini,
If you join the TalkTalk Members Forum or tweet us @TalkTalkCare we are more than happy to look into any queries you may have.

Hi Mark, thanks for the post;
We called customer services to see if they could help, unfortunately he didn't understand our query and we couldn't understand him either - I have cancelled our account and gone to a broadband supplier with a UK call centre!

My broadband has also slowed to a snail's pace. Yesterday evening speed checker recorded 0.60 mbps. This morning at 7am it went up to a whopping 6.8, then at 3pm down to 0.97
The download speeds have never been great in this part of Kent, but now it is getting ridiculous. I have reported it to Talktalk, but don't hold out a lot of hope.0
