  • Hi All

Big shop in Mr T's today - spent £142.05 but that is down from £167 thanks to coupons + saving stamps!
Got lots of bargains and used a couple of 3 for 2 promotions. Fridge, freezer(s) and cupboards all fit to burst. Lovely :D

It is not embarrassing to wrap up the cake I could not eat and bring it home in my handbag from the posh coffee place. It isn't, it really isn't. So why was I so :o:o:o ?

Answer - I'm probably still a snob in my heart. I still did it though! :j

I agree, good on you Suffolk lass! I have to admit I am never embarrassed to take leftover food home. Always do it in Italian restaurants as the portions are too big and can make two meals for me. I am not going to use the :o smily as I am not embarrassed about it :rotfl: I have paid for my meal and I wouldn't throw out leftovers of home cooked food, so why leave expensive restaurant stuff for the bin!! (No restaurant has ever had a problem doing this but I suppose I may have embarrassed my companions :rotfl:)

We always wrap up uneaten meat (& veg if roasties / yorkypuds etc) or ask for it to be bagged if we've left lots of it ... we just blame the dogs :rotfl: We've often had it come back from the kitchen with extra's in it :D
