  • There is a section- 1st class. Very rarely any children and if there are they get 1 to 1 attention from a stewardess.

    People = Fellow travellers. :)

For what it is worth, I am aisle seat all the way, preferably with the aisle to my right and no AVOD box at my feet.

Middle seats are my worst nightmare but easily avoided with careful planning. :)

I like an aisle seat too but with the aisle to my left. I've had two clots in my left leg, one in 1991 and another earlier this year. Sitting in this seat enables me to stretch my leg and flex it a bit more. Also, I like to be able to pop to the loo without having to ask other people to move.

A seperate section for the noisy screaming crying brats isnt far away enough, a trailer would be better.:p (yes i do have kids)
    Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.
  • I was once on a transcontinental flight in Business Class, only to have my journey ruined by a screaming child belonging to one of those mothers. Imagine the start of my trip, relaxing in the lounge in Heathrow... and then boarding and discovering that there was an extraordinarily annoying child in my class!

Thankfully, not being British, I had no qualms about informing the mother exactly what I thought about her child rearing skills and what I would like to do to her child given the chance. Being Polish, we simply aren't brought up to suffer in silence.

Yes, she silenced the child. Quickly. Strange how she couldn't manage it in the hour before, but anyway.
    From Poland...with love.

    They are (they're)
    sitting on the floor.
    Their
books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.

Came back from Sydney last week. Horrendous flight due to screaming baby and a couple of poorly behaved kids. Felt sorry for baby's mum who was doing her best to placate baby. No support for parents of older kids who just ignored their offspring's unruly behaviour (climbing on seat backs, shouting).

Do noise cancelling headphones actually filter out annoying sceaming and carrying on?

Would be worth the money to get a couple of hours sleep!

Not true at all, there are often children in First. Also worth remembering that it is a much smaller cabin, so nowhere to get away if you dislike children!

Go one step further, adult only flights! They have adult only hotels, why should you be expected to have kids on your flight as well?

Also don't see why they can't have smoking flights either. If all seats were smoking then where's the objection to that? You know what you'd be letting yourself in for. Should stop a good few whingers along the way.

How about booze free flights as well? Hate the stink of a pi ss artist next to me on a flight

I used to fly to australia regularly , in business class.

On one trip, I was on the front seat upper deck (2 seats) with a guy, and one baby, his wife was across the aisle with another baby. Both 5 months old (twins).

I thought OMG, 24hr flight from hell. I was wrong. Babies barely wimpered and were a delight anyway, the father was pleasant to talk to (and I don't go for mass chatting on planes normally, head down and rest normally).

    Changed my perception!
