  • Got to say big boobs look great on Ladies, why do us blokes find them so fascinating ? I guess it is all part of the female figure and form. It is a pity that some of you appear a bit self concious of them rather than feeling confident whatever shape and form.

However I recognise the difficulty caused by large boobs, particularly the pressure on shoulders and back that they cause.

A common complaint is saggy ones, why? They are very often still attractive and sexy.

    VBG.

Bettie, any such pics will be between me and my surgeon and his team, only. Not for public consumption, and I can guarantee that spin doctor would not find them 'fascinating' and 'looking great'. I've been promised to go from 36GG to 36A/B, can't wait.

Well, I've found a gym just round the corner on the local industrial estate, they sound sympathetic, I popped round there and will go tomorrow to see what they can do for me. I could easily go there most days until the 19th, except for Christmas/New Year and when we're away which is 29th/2nd.

We've decided not to go out for a meal for our wedding anniversary on the 14th as we normally do, but to try to book at the cinema instead to see 'Les Miserables'. We like to mark the occasion with a 'treat' but it doesn't have to be a meal.

BTW I asked about a bra for afterwards. They supply them. http://www.cosmeticsurgeryessex.com/breast-enhancement.php

wow you are so enthusiatic and full of energy, puts me to shame and I am 17 years younger. I don't think they would do me as I'm on blood thinners and some other medication which makes an op for me a bit too risky unless absolutely necessary. I have though seen the lipo reduction when I was looking online. Have you any knowledge of that? seems it wouldn't do a great deal for shape but wouldn't have to carry a ton about and that "could" suit someone like me who would find an op too much for health reasons.

I had this op in 2005 and don't regret it for a second. I was a 36F/G and very low slung with size 12 bottoms so clothes shopping was a nightmare.

After the op I was a 36C but have now gone up to a dd cup. However I am uplifted and not saggy so that is ok. The odd thing is that when shopping I still look for clothes that don't draw attention to my breasts and always v necks, never round. It's obviously some sort of body dismorphia! Another odd thing was that my tummy looked enormous after the op - before my breasts were the most prominent of my body, now it is my tummy.

    Good luck

MargaretClare, you have got yourself a good surgeon havent you, as he is a consultant at the burns unit at Chelmsford which is respected world wide. Did you choose him or just want to go to local hospital ?
What forum are you talking about please when you say BHO?
On the weight front could you reduce potatoes and bread for a few weeks?

Re the poster about tummies sticking out, this is something I have thought about and why I wouldnt get reduction to my origninal size - with me its not so much fat as fact that I have a pelvic tilt. I would though get a tummy tidy up (3 C sections) at the same time and a lot of people do double up on these ops.
Am so looking forward to more posts by MargaretClare ....

Thank you very much for this. Can I just ask - why have you gone from C to DD?

I am not sure why I have increased in size, I haven't really put on weight and my BMI is good, but I was warned that they might grow again. The extra fat seems to be at the side rather than the front so I am wide. My surgeon did do some liposuction at the sides when he operated so I think this fat has gone back on there. I don't know if this is what happens when someone has liposuction.

However I am not bothered by the size, I am so grateful for the uplift as before they were flat and saggy, and no backache. Sometimes I take a 36D depending upon the make.

After the surgery I was a 38C but a year or so later when all the swelling etc had gone, I was a 36C. I think because my breasts were higher the band was in a different place. I had 540 grams removed from the left and 615 from the right.

It took me a long time to start doing aquaerobics again - I was scared the skin would split!

PS I found the BHO forum really helpful and they answered all my questions.

    .
When I was investigating breast reduction I read that after an op it was common to have lipo on the sides as there was a fatty area sometimes appear there, that's when it went on to say about the lipo breast reductions and I began wondering if that might be suitable for me.
I would hate to have it done then find they've grown back.

yes, indeed, good luck, you have a fine surgeon, he did my friends reconstruction, hope your cold goes in next few days, will your breasts be lifted as well as reduced?
Can I ask (if you know that is) how much your relation paid for tummy tuc? I expect that its cheaper if you get both done at once and, as I said, further back on the thread, I have had 3 C sections.
