  • Wine. I don't drink it. I don't care that it is a "really nice" bottle. Sorry.

And Lush stuff. I hate it, it stinks.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Bodyshop, Liz Earle or L'Occitane and handmade soaps but I appreciate any toiletries (other than Lush).

I hate people buying me clothes or shoes, no one ever picks anything I like.
I also hate cut (dead) flowers, they are for funerals.

I love smellies - decent quality ones, but I love Dove too.
I like books - especially cook books.
I've asked for a sign for my kitchen this year that says "this is where the magic happens" if I get that I will be happy :-)
  • I am so easy to buy for! I have 'obsessions' many of them, so it's always easy for people to find something i'll like. Give me a broken watch or a bottle top and I'm happy!

my parents ask what i'd like then can't be bothered to go out and get it (nothing difficult, i asked for an Angel boxset one year and had to go buy it myself!)

I don't like the taste or smell of coconut so probably wouldn't use anything with that in it.

Also vouchers for whsmith...they're my natural enemy as i work for their competitor....and now they don't sell DVDs and I'm trying not to hoard magazines, there's not much I'd buy there.

i love Lush, and Soap and Glory, and those little makeup sets from boots in the clashing bright colours. I don't wear makeup often, but when I do I love the dramatic. i like funky.

My friends bought me antibacterial hand gel last year because I stopped at every handpump when i visited their grandson at the hospital (i love the smell of it) now whenever i use it i have to chuckle

I collect My Little Pony, but I don't have much room...I have no room in fact, so while I love that my friends keep an eye out for them in charity shops I'd prefer they only got me real ones and no fakies (unless they're the american $1 babies, cos i love those!) I feel guilty for it, but some of the fakies have found their way back to the charity shop.

i adore books, but most people don't know what to buy me as i work in a bookshop, so it's understandable. there's only really 2 people who know what i read/have read and know what i'd like to read.

I wish people would get me book vouchers but for some reason most feel like i'd not like them as i work in abook shop. god are they wrong!

my ex boyfriend's mother once bought me one of those....weird beaded headdresses. i can't explain it well. it was made from shiny pink beads and even to this day i can't understand why they thought i'd like it, or where she even got it! it used to live on one of my teddy's until my pet rat chewed through it and the beads started to fall off! What a shame!

No, to chocolate. I mean, I love the stuff but when one person buys me chocolate everyone else seems to as well. I can't remember how many boxes of Ferrero Rocher I was given last year but it was a lot!

Yes, to candles, bath sets, make up, clothes, garden stuff.

I'm the same! Although I do celebrate Christmas, me and my partner don't buy for each other as all the money goes on the kids. We don't have any other family and friends don't bother.

I want some crappy Christmas gifts :rotfl:

When asked what is on my wish list - the answer is always the same! Top of my list is Hugs... They are my favourite gift.
I prefer to see everyone else happy with thier pressies. If my nearest and dearest are happy I am :)

I am not keen on getting makeup unless its boots no.7
And would prefer a amazon voucher than anyone trying to choose a book for me!
