But I'm not Welsh, so anywhere remotely within driving distance of Cardiff is Cardiff

You can.
You would need to park so that both could be filled without putting the hose back into the holder.
well each car has it's own driver, one person can fill up, with the other person chauffers the two cars through the forecourts. it is possible to do. BUT, do it in the evenings so you dont annoy the people queing for petrol0 -
I did the math, If I buy these vouchers from ebay instead of shopping in tescos. I'd have to spend about £12 getting 5 vouchers to make £22 saving on fuel (on a full tank).
It's a whole lot of bother to be honest.
I was just thinking why not just go to tescos and just do a normal shop and that way if you purchase things you really want rather than getting for offers sake you might not be so "worse off".
The problem is though the offer is really difficult to get my head round.0 -
I did that last time. Paid around £1.50 per voucher to save around £6.londonTiger wrote: »I did the math, If I buy these vouchers from ebay instead of shopping in tescos. I'd have to spend about £12 getting 5 vouchers to make £22 saving on fuel (on a full tank).

This time I've bought the products - the loo rolls worked out free. (Price matched with Asda, 18 loo rolls cost £6. Voucher will save me £6).Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
Except you can get loo rolls at a quarter of the price from Aldi, it's not as if they are going anywhere special! Chocs, Nescafe and the concentrated vomit juice are way overpriced for what they are as well. If you normally buy a lot of Dairy products it is certainly worth it, otherwise it could be a false economy.
If the vouchers are genuine they seem a bargain. This one is worth 4 times what they sold for after postage and assuming a 50 litre tank.0 -

The Robinsons juice, Andrex and Nescafe can all be price-checked with other supermarkets though, and you can get the difference back in a voucher.
I had no use for any of them, nor the Thorntons, so I bought my dairy stuff at Tesco today, Flora, Philadelphia, Gu desserts all half price, plus my usual milk and then I bulked it up to £16 with cheese which I'll freeze. Got 2 fuel vouchers without having to price-check anything, and its all stuff I'd usually buy, at the prices I'd usually buy it.0 -
If you are using hundreds of litres of fuel a week i can see this penny pinching being worthwhile...otherwise...is it really worth it!!:eek:Living frugally at 24
Increase net worth £30k in 2016 : http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=69797771#post697977710 -

I'm sorry - are you saying that £1.50 loo rolls cost less than free?!
Besides which the nearest Aldi is about 25 miles away.
Don't buy Nestle, got enough squash to feed an army, but it keeps (and I made money back on that). Stocked up on dairy. In total I have 15 vouchers and about £200 worth of shopping for about £50. :beer:Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
So whats the offer. Do you just need to buy £8 worth of the dairy. Or do you need to buy 5 promotions of the dairys? Or is it both? You need to buy 5 promotions AND it has to be over £8?
The only stuff I'd ever buy is probably the dairy, the thorntons, andrex are premium brands that I wouldn't normally buy, the nescafe is instant coffee - I only drink brewed coffee. Hmm should I spend £40 on dairy to get 5 vouchers?
If I was really bothered I would make it work, fill up two cars back to back and maximise my savings. But it is a lot of hassle to be honest.0 -
No you just buy £8 or more of dairy (not eggs for some reason) and you get a voucher on your receipt which is valid for two weeks I think. Not sure about the others, I think the voucher may be on the product wrapper. Not a good idea to go crazy unless you use a lot of fuel anyway.0
