    Doesn't mean that most tanks are not 40 - 60 l
most small cars will be 45 l

Some of those ebay sellers have sold about 300 vouchers at least. london ticket master, hot pimp ax

It's still the same basic price approximately £12 per 10 vouchers
Unless you see the retard who bought 10 for £100 + £2.99 postage.

We both have big cars, but a lot of our company fleet (Ford Mondeo/S-Max/Galaxy, so quite a common model) go around 73l from dry.

So for a 50L tank @10p off that is £5 per voucher worth £50 for 10. So they are worth about four times as much as they are selling for, even for an average size tank.

I suppose you take the risk they are stolen or forged, and not accepted at the counter?

My error, they are selling approximately £25 per 10
    so £12.50 per 5
    50 litres 5v = £25off, so you save £12.50 off your fuel
    100 litres 5v = £50off, you save £37.50 off your fuel

If you have the jerry cans, it can be done to buy 90 - 100 litres, I did it with a helper, I laid out all the cans on the floor lids off, as each one was filled the helper put the cap on the can, wiped it and put it in the boot. I did it (twice) late at night when there is less likely to be any silly !!!!!! who would have something to say to me or the staff. The staff didn't care, and saw/knew what I was doing.
I have a 20 litre can and about 5 x 5 litre cans with the rest going in the car I got 93 litres

And, yes, I suppose buying them online, there is a bit of a risk that it works out for you.

We get through nearly 3,000 tanks of fuel a month as a company, so it's a risk that IMO is worth taking.

I used my 5 last night in Cardiff, where diesel is 16p/l cheaper than these waters anyway. I don't think I've had a tank that cheap in the UK since I passed my test (c.March 2000)

I find the fuel in Cardiff more expensive than anywhere else, including London!

The cheapest one on my way into work is the Shell off the North Circ.

Cardiff was 85.7p after discounts (135.7 before), and the one in the town I live is 146.9 tonight.

    Where in Cardiff was that?

I used to fill up at Shell in SW18 or SW6 and it was always a good 17/18p per litre cheaper than at home.

It was at CF48 (Merthyr), although I'd just driven up from Aberdare, as I was in that location anyway.

I use the Shell on the way into Acton usually, but will be using Harlow (closer to home) as it's cheaper than where I live.

Does anyone know if I can use the Esso on the Uxbridge Road (it's a Tesco one), as it was 4p cheaper than Harlow?

  • Can you not fill two cars up at the same time in the same transaction to get the whole 100 litres?

Just that I have a Morrisons fuel saver coupon to use before December and was thinking of filling my car up and my sisters at the same time. We both have 50 litre tanks.

as someone who works at a morrisons petrol station It is only valid for one car
