These 10p per litre off vouchers (which can be combined up to 50p/litre) must be worth £10 each for a 100 litre tank totalling a £50 saving. However they seem to be selling for a pittance.

Perhaps I have misunderstood it incorrectly. I was going to sell my voucher off only having a small car then saw how little they were going for!

these don't sell for loads, because most folk who are selling them got them for nothing :), by doing either a regular shop in Tesco, or by doing a targeted shop and then using the Price Promise guarantee between the various supermarkets prices.

So that makes them a good buy surely? How else can you get fuel at less than a pound a litre?

on ebay they're only worth what someone's prepared to pay for them - especially if they can go do the Tesco shop themselves, either instore or online, and get the vouchers included.

Not to mention that if Tesco suspect you bought the vouchers off someone without actually shopping there - they may refuse to honour them. (Bet the T&C say non-transferrable)
I need to think of something new here...

Managing to buy the whole 100 litres in one sale is a bit unlikely.

Most tanks hold 40 to 65 litres and not all will become empty in the next couple of weeks, and in theory filling extra cans is restricted to 5 or 10 litres, though perhaps someone can get away with not being noticed with one at 20 litres.

So some people might foresee only buying £20 worth of fuel and saving £7. If the vouchers go for £10 or £15 they are better off

I'm a bit surprised that quite a few vendors already have 10 vouchers for sale. Are Tesco staff on the tills allowed to have the vouchers if the customer declines as they don't have a car?
  • Can you not fill two cars up at the same time in the same transaction to get the whole 100 litres?

Just that I have a Morrisons fuel saver coupon to use before December and was thinking of filling my car up and my sisters at the same time. We both have 50 litre tanks.

Don't see these prices as being a 'pittance'. You must have plenty money.

    You can.

You would need to park so that both could be filled without putting the hose back into the holder.
