Yup me too, had a phone call earlier from them.
Shame as it sounded for real and I'm just relieved I hadn't told anyone yet.0 -
Well im a "winner" too - my partners family lives in Barcelona so imagine his excitement when i interupted him at work to shriek down the phone that we would be able to visit them soon.
I have contacted Unilever, the IPM and the Daily Mail... and yes although people do make mistakes they could also make apologies.
Im sure we are all a little gutted right now and at the very least would like and also deserve a sorry....my living room air turned blue when i realised it wasnt true!!
Group hug anyone??0 -
I can't believe people are speaking to the Daily Mail, of all papers.
Its a simple, human error. Is this going to be the case where every time somebody makes a mistake its going to be in the papers.
GET A GRIP PEOPLE. They will make an apology when they've sorted themselves out, I've had a call from them.
I would hope that we forgive and move on, but people are just in for a quick buck.0 -
Baggsy getting my hair cut first, don't want a tired barber near my barnet0

To the people that have been called, what do they say to you? x0

Completely agree...been over an hour now and still no "sorry we made a mistake" email...really do feel sorry for the people who won't have seen this thread and still think they've won

Yep, that was me. I rang my boyfriend, my Mum and Dad, told all my friends and even put it on Facebook. Now to find out it's all a mistake is completely gutting. I don't normally fall for things like this but when you've entered the competition and the email is genuinely from that promoter its only natural to get your hopes up. Now I feel completely stupid, and completely disappointed.
:heart:Thanks to all those lovely peeps who post comps!

I just came to say I too was the victim of this. The only reason I found this was because I googled the prize wondering what it was for because I think I entered ages ago. I'd told my mum and everything. I am a sad old thing now.0
