Hi all - haven't stopped by for a while but have still been adding to my stash on a regular basis. Five coins this week brings me to over 75% of my target! An imminent change in circumstances means I may not get so many opportunities to collect from now on but I'm please with what I've done so far!

Hello everyone. A long overdue update from me!

My spreadsheet tells me I've deposited £200 in £2 coins and £170 in 50p coins since this challenge started, so need to get a move on if I'm going to get to my £600 target.

The total got a boost recently as my husband created a 50p treasure hunt (complete with clues!) around the house and garden for my birthday. It might sound a bit daft to some but I loved it - plus I was £20 better off at the end! Hurrah!

Hi all,

I realise it's super late in the year, but better late than never, may I join in please? I was in the 2012 club it was so much fun! The understanding I got from friends when I said 'oh no, I can't spend that coin, I'm saving it' was fab.

So, another year and winter seems to have arrived = more bills to pay

I've just unpacked my lovely hello kitty money box so am ready to start filling it up with 3 shiny ones from my purse as a starter.... xx

Thank god I'm not the only one who does this!!! Most of my friends think I'm mad as I sweep all the change out of my purse once a week into a jar and won't spend £2 coins to the point I'd break a note to pay for something.:rotfl:

I've been saving £2 coins for over 2 years now and think my jar is at around £1,200 and isn't even full yet.

Would I be able to join and keep saving until my jar is full please?

It's one of the big qual!ty $treet ones and still has a fair bit of room in for the preciousssssss £2 coins (yeah I'm a bit like golum with my £2's)

Hoping by the time it's full I'll have got rid of my current bank (who owe me money after miss selling my current account to me) and have a shiny FD one with 6% interest savings account to pay in to.
