how are you supposed to prove it unless you film yourself? i think this will just mean people giving daft evidence like i logged into jobcentre plus at 8am and looked at it until 5pm. what if you have doctors appointments, voluntary work, job interviews etc during the day? are you meant to make up the 35 hours through the night?
They will never be able to police that.

What about the hours spent travelling to the WP for mindless appts or signing on where I am out of the house for an hour for a 2 min appt!??

I job search till very late at night but are they going to set hours too say from 9-5 lol

Heaven help you if you get an interview, you will have to make up 6 hours or something at night

my appointment slips for wp say i must be available at all times at the phone number provided. to follow this it would mean not leaving the house during their opening hours of 9 to 5 monday to friday. makes it a bit hard to go to interviews dont you think?

Make sure you dont go to the loo, or the shops, or have a bath or anything while you are meant to be available for everyone at all times haha:p

lol, yeah. what i think it is is they are being a bit braindead and assuming everyone has a mobile. although even then there are times when you will have it turned off.

200 most active companies by live jobs
    https://jobsearch.direct.gov.uk/jobsearch/Browse.aspx?sc=em

The number of jobs posted by remaining 200 most active companies is a few hundred, much much less.

There is clearly a major problem with Agency Central (Warehouse) & its I assume sister companies, it has 38000 more jobs posted than Monster which is next highest.
Looks like the number of front job "Warehouse" companies is expanding, CV Library has taken the lead with 86,000+ "jobs".

Agency Central Limited (Job Warehouse) (56672)

    Career Builder (Job Warehouse) (2417)

CV Library (Job Warehouse Only) (86308)

Jobs gopublic (Job Warehouse Only) (486)

MyJobs Ltd (Job Warehouse only (13052)

    NursingNet Ltd (Job Warehouse) (473)

    Technojobs Job Warehouse Only (12459)

Not even a mobile, maybe take the home phone into the bathroom or everywhere you go

    It makes no sense

    in reply to donna.
sorry for the delay. but i was waiting to find out myself and found out today.
    And i think you'll have a laugh.
Cause if you read the letter banning me, especially paragraph 2. you'll understand why i had to phone them.

    826025379.jpg

so i phoned them up to confirm and i was right, they put it down WRONG. its not the havant I have to go to but portsmouth, arundel street.
Wonder what Screened services means, like the old big pane of plastic and you have to pass your papers underneath.
I actually find this funny, and I also believed i remembered something I forgot about my talk with andy brown and the 35hrs jobsearch.

it revolves around their new website and logging in before you do your jobsearch, which is buggy at the moment, as it locked me out when i tried logging in, and was told to create a new account. anyway on that screen after logging in at the top of the page is a what you did outside their system, just a link, click it and on the new page you have to type where and what you did, like which agencies, papers, where you went for interviews etc, which other jobsites you went on and of course HOW LONG FOR each, then they will add it all up and it they believe the total is less than 35hrs in a week, say HELLO sanction.
now as i just said the site is buggy, andy brown insisted I talk to the TECH who's on work experience at the jobcentre, and he told me he had exactly the same problem, its easier to create a new account than to unlock the old one, which of course will be bad news if your on the last day of your 2week search history and you get locked out, or if when asked for your login detail at the jobcentre they type it in wrong and get locked out. how many times can you try before being locked out. no way to find out. cause it doesnt work the way you think.
I only found out, by closing the window and reopening the window it will say your account is locked,.. if you type in your id and password wrong it just says ID or password wrong, so i typed it in again. i even requested a new password which i was sent, only for that not to work.
Then when your locked out you have to email tech support to unlock, and I still havent received an email yet.
So if you get an id / password wrong do type it again, close the window FIRST, and reopen cause when it says LOCKED your pretty much fill in the blank.
I can see many people getting sanctioned for this. note: I copied and pasted my username and password. so how did i get it wrong?

so you type in what you have done and say how long you spent on each. so its pretty much like i said type in that you logged onto the net to jobsearch at 8am and say you spent 8 hours job searching.
are they going to provide a pc and internet connection for those who dont have them already? they cant tell people to go to the library because you are often limited to 1 hour.
so heres a tip in advance for everyone. say you dont have access to the net. i cant see advisers wanting to spend time working out if you have done enough when you sign on.
    edit.
what if people do voluntary work? are they expected to work through the night to get the hours in?
