You hide behind a mask; you quote what is in reality? 100 times worse; people kill themselves based on your decisions
You say you are under immense pressure; POOR YOU! You forget the people that you are trying to help! The pressure YOU get is from the corrupt Government. The people you 'attempt' to help live on the breadline, that you clearly do not have concerns about, that you are attempting to help (supposidly in your job as advisor), but clearly, are only concerned for your own back. We’ve had to remove your signature. You really are a nasty little keyboard warrior aren't you!!!!
I suggest you re read my post... I personally am not under any immense pressure.
you know nothing about me or my job.... so you can continue to throw insults all you like.. nasty little bully that you are.0 -

With the greatest of respect, if you work in a person centred role, with vulnerable people (which I suspect many unemployed are), shouldn't you be a little less sensitive?0 -
When have I stated I don't realise how bad some of the companies out there are??
The problem that you'll find is most within welfare to work are under immense pressure to hit targets to keep their jobs. Advisor's have families to feed and bills to pay to.. they don't make the rules but they do have to follow them.
Most of us work extremely hard and honestly want to help people back into work..but we are faced with abuse on a daily basis and it can be draining.
You only have to look on these forums the moment you declare you work at a provider or jcp you instantly attacked by the likes of savemedo and krok... now this is only cyber world imagine that on a daily basis but face to face. ..0 -
donnajunkie wrote: »yes, i understand there is pressure. it just shows how clueless the bosses of these schemes are. there is nothing you can do to get people a job. so giving you a hard time because a certain percentage of clients havent got a job this month is out of order. has it ever occurred to any of you to say to your boss how exactly can we make a job offer appear for our clients. i think you will find that when people air grievances against these schemes it is either at the rules or at the advisers when they operate badly in some way. reasonable people never slag off advisers that are 100% fair. can you explain if the rules say they must have a minimum contact of once a fortnight how they can sometimes let you go more than 2 weeks without seeing them? could it be that when they say they must see you at least once a fortnight that they are fibbing.
They do but are likely to end up on performance improvement or the sack if they don't achieve.
as far as I'm aware it a minimum of 4 weekly contact but id have to check guidance to be sure as I no longer work for the providers, I work at jcp.0 -

This csmw person states that they are not under pressure, when I pointed out they clearly are, abuses people that don't agree with them, because they are unaware of the courses that people are forced to do, then doesn't even know what their job role is or where they work, and has no concept of what contract they are on, or what work practices they must follow.
I know a job advisor personally, at my local Jobcentre, they live opposite me, they often bypass the queue to sign me on quickly due to this, so I know what contracts they are on. And it's nothing like you suggest csmw, so, infact, it turns out that it is you that is a charlatain, and keyboard warrior, because you lie about your occupation, and pupport to be someone that you are not, given your obvious lack of knowledge regarding your own employment, your t&c's, your lack of empathy to your clients, you bring nothing to the table, apart from bile, and lack of knowledge. If you do work in that industry, then that proves what has been stated in the last 30 or so pages, that you don't know how to do your job.0 -

Haha you do make me laugh again re read my post I stated I am not under pressure as I'm a linked advisor.. I suggest you ask your jcp 'friend' what that is. I have no need to lie about my occupation that would just be a little silly.
However the staff that work in the provider are and considering ive worked on employment zones, pathways to work and flexible new deal then I have every right to comment on a situation after all its a forum.
the only person that has abused anyone is here is you, sitting behind your keyboard and attacking me for the job I do.
oh and you friend that lets you que jump to sign on isn't an advisor... the members of the signing team are a.o grade so assistant Advisor's.
You think you know it all and I know nothing that's fine but I have 10 years experience and don't need to justify myself to someone like you.0 -
Hi guys. I got to reading to about page 11 of this thread and so without having to read another 40 pages to find out, would someone be kind enough to tell me if Universal Jobmatch sign up is now mandatory? Thank you very much.0

The "rules" are constantly changing, and different jobcenters have different interpretations of what is mandatory and what isn't.
If you read the guidance obtained in the link above, you can be mandated to sign up IF IT IS REASONABLE for you to be so.
If you don't have a IAD (internet Access Device) or access to one, or the skills to work one, then you could argue that a direction would be unreasonable, because you would be expected to check the damn site EVERY DAY, and clearly, you could not.
If you object to having cookies track you, it is your right not to use UJM outside of the jobcentre, so again, you could argue that a direction would be unreasonable, because you would be expected to check the damn site EVERY DAY, (unless they make you go to the jobcentre everyday)
Or, you could register on UJM, and NOT ALLOW the DWP access to the account. there is nothing they can do to force you to allow access. (AT PRESENT).
If you do any of the above, and you do your jobsearch on paper, make sure it is bulletproof because you will come under "special scrutiny"!0
