As a push message in Android phone. It took 4 days to get the cash back.
  • If in doubt you can also login to https://www.foursquare.co.uk and check your notifications there. It should look something like this:

Hoping someone can help. I've got my own Amex, synced and used fine. Then I also got a second card on my DH account, with a different number, I've synced this but when I go to sign up to foursquare I can only get a sign up through facebook page which I can't do as I already have one card registered to my facebook email. How can I sign up to foursquare without going through the facebook link. TIA

Sign up using the foursquare app, don't use the foursquare website. If you use the app, you can select "Sign up with email". If you're logged in with your profile on the app, go to settings and then sign out first

What do you do if the credit doesn't appear on your card?

My wife and I both have bmi Amex credit cards issued by MBNA. Mine is white and light blue, her's is black. She was also issued with a linked Mastercard, earning half of the Amex card's bmi miles - for use with retailers who don't take Amex.

We both registered with foursquare and loaded the House of Fraser and Shell offers to our respective cards and accounts. After using our respective Amex cards at both retailers I was notified of cashback within seconds but, after quite a few days, my wife has received no notification. Worse still, she can reload the offers, so it's clear that the original loads and transactions didn't work.

I emailed foursquare, who told me that it can take 2 billing cycles to credit. They ignored the fact that the offers can be reloaded, suggesting no cashback will be paid.

It appears from this that not all MBNA Amex cards work with foursquare :(

It might not be a problem. I've got the black one and didn't think that it had worked correctly at House of Fraser on Oxford Street after I used it last Friday. I emailed MBNA and had a call from them to confirm that it did work even though my check-in showed up as Victoria Street and I hadn’t received any sort of notifcation via Foursquare. The £25 credit is showing on my credit card account as the 4th February although I think that it only actually appeared yesterday (I made the purchase on the 1st). For any future queries for MBNA purchases they confirmed that the registeredcardsupport@aexp.com address should be used. My purchase was a mix of goods and a gift card.

People shouldn't worry about notifications. They are hit and miss with Amex issued cards but very hit and miss on Partner cards.

    Totally agree with you here.

At first, I was worried about not getting the notifications but now I've used these Amex/Foursquare offers a few times with my Lloyds card and always got the money. I've never received a notification.

Is that a House Of Fraser gift card or do they do others?
    I think....
